In strip poker, players who lose bets remove articles of clothing in place of, or in addition to, the money payout. It is usually just a variation of traditional poker games, although it usually works best with fewer poker rounds (such as five-card draw). Strip poker is commonly played in parties, but virtual versions have been around as early as the first video games. These days, online strip poker is the most popular way to play the game. In this version, you play with virtual opponents using a virtual deck of cards. You can play strip poker online for free, or download the game so you can play without an internet connection. Because of the nature of the game, most strip poker sites are available only to players over 18. Some sites will require a credit card number, or any proof that you are of legal age, before you can enter the game room.

Indeed, it is no secret that Ultimate Bet had some problems with their software in the past, but not anymore. Their new software is reliable and has become sought-after by millions of gamblers all over. It is considered by some experts to be the fastest software today, and in terms of navigation, you would not get a migraine figuring out what to press and how to go where. Ultimate Bet's bonuses are also top-notch, with a 111% up to 1100 dollars upon registration. The competition in this room goes from very easy to problematic, of course depending on whom you are facing. The 300-600$ games are filled with veterans, some of them already gambling before Christ was born. I should know, I know of at least two persons who are members of Ultimate Bet (NOT the official team, those are the pros), and they are really old. For the games, Ultimate Bet offers Omaha, Holdem, Omaha HL, 7-CARD Stud, and even Pineapple. This is one room that offers a very big repertoire of games, and that is an objective assessment. There are loyalty points in the site, and they could be utilized to enter many competitions, that or buy live tourney items.

The Bluff magazine is a poker player magazine that could be considered as among the most sought-after by the multitudes of gamblers. I even know of some people who subscribe to the magazine, yet not know a single thing about poker, God only knows what they are after. At the United States, the circulation goes to more or less 250,000, not a thing to be scoffed at since they've been around for just a few years, and what about the writers? Roy Brindley and Neil Channing are two of the experts writing for this publication. Another poker player magazine guys, the...well, just repeat it, for the title of the magazine is exactly that: Poker Player magazine. This publication is focused on UK events, and this is under the control of Dennis Publications, the same entity that owns Maxim. One thing I can say about this poker player magazine, it has something for everybody, from the newbies to the WSOP sharks. (Reminds me of my friend Jack, he buys two copies for every issue, he said that his extra copy is for him to sell 50 years from now, when those issues have become collectors' items, wow, is that foresight or what?) If you ask me which of the two you should constantly read, here's my answer: there's nothing wrong with subscribing to both.

Well, I do not know about you, but this is one of my favorite topics, the lady warriors of the poker tables. So, while I am here today to just talk about one in particular, let me give you some of today's professional female poker players. Here goes: Victoria Coren, Colette Doherty, ANNIE DUKE (the all caps is supposed to mean that I think she is one of the strongest), Wendeen Eolis, Kristy Gazes, Clonie Gowen, JENNIFER HARMAN, Susie Isaacs, Karina Jett, Joanna Krupa, Liz Lieu, JJ Lieu, Isabelle Mercier, Erin Ness, EVELYN NG, and...ehr...stop there. I ran out of breath there, anyway, there are still other female poker players I did not include here. I did not even mention that beautiful lady who is a Hollywood celeb, that one terrorized by that come-alive monster doll in that movie? Now, let us talk of Evelyn NG, she earned so much respect after her memorable showing at WPT season 2's Ladies Night Invitational. Some circles said that she got chosen because she is beautiful and no more, well, she proved them wrong. Against Jennifer Harman and Annie Duke (surely two of the strongest female poker players alive today), Ng was able to hold her own. Clonie won that event, but the spectating experts all knew that another "poker amazon" has just been born.

Just when you've thought you've already mastered poker, here comes a new innovation: poker games going online! Ah, the confusion and the frustration that innovation is so wont to cause. Indeed, it makes life a continuous learning process--just when you're done learning something, here comes one other new thing to add up to what you've just learned. Anyway, there are a great variety of poker games. That's another thing: just when you've already made up your mind that poker is just a simple game of cards, you'll find out that it's actually made up of a myriad other variants. What are these variants? There's the all-time favorite Texas Hold 'Em poker, the analytical Omaha poker, Stud poker games in seven card and five card variants, draw poker, HORSE, crazy pineapple, and RAZZ, among a few. But what's going to make you go nuts is that these variants are actually made up of further sub-variants, such as no limit and limit Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha High, and Omaha High Low. So, what's the benefit of having poker games online? Just the usual--the convenience of accessing your favorite game of cards just by getting in front of a computer with Internet connection, whether it's a laptop or a desktop or even a palm top computer. It's keeping your hobby within reach whenever you want it to be.

Whenever I play poker on the Internet, I sometimes get frustrated. Why? For just one dreary reason: it feels tiring to play with avatars that make it seem like they're being run by real people but they really aren't. Do you get my point? Come on now, I'm also a software developer like you thugs behind poker gaming websites, so I know that what websites sometimes claim to be live or real time do not really mean what they're saying. So, people ask me, do I mean that seemingly reality poker games on the Internet have a bad rep. Well, yes. Or so I thought. I kind of changed my mind when I encountered Live Poker. Log on to www.livepoker.com. Just the home page design is going to give you a clue to its interactive characteristic. I must confess, I simply love Live Poker! Why? It's because when it says things are for real, they are, really! And the software's "reaction reflexes," they're so speedy, they work just like a breeze. And, you can't question the influx of poker enthusiasts to this site. That's due in part to their customer service that's very prompt and reliable. The site's also very secure; it employs security that is at a level with financial institutions like banks. Live Poker has Texas Hold 'Em, Seven Card Stud, and Omaha poker game variants. Log on to Live Poker now!

Perhaps there are a lot of guys out there who enjoy visiting strip poker sites so much. For the lonesome few who are still "virgin" to strip poker but would like to experience the fun and excitement it brings, I'm going to give you a sort of cheat sheet/guide to strip poker games, right here and now! Strip poker sites are so called because, well, they offer strip poker games. But don't be shocked or confused if you log on to a strip poker site and find out that there are a lot other games other than strip poker. That's because the proprietors or proponents of these kinds of sites often feature strip poker as fronts because the name of the game itself is already wave inducing and exciting. What other games can you find on strip poker sites? There's strip casino, memory matching, puzzle solving, picture hunting, strip soccer, strip combat, crackdown, and strip break out. Hold on, there's more... there's also other card games such as Black Jack and Texas Hold 'Em, strip poker style, as well as various animated strip games, party strip poker, and X-ray vision games. There's also the exciting video strip poker that gives the game a very interactive edge.

We know of obedient, well-mannered, order abiding dogs. We also know of dogs as men's best friends. More over, we know some talented, multi-faceted dogs. What do I mean? Nowadays, we hear news of canines who do stuff only men usually do, such as washing dishes, manning vehicles, even playing poker. Dogs playing poker? Personally, I'm not sure if there's already any evidence of dogs learning how to play poker, but what I know of is that painting collection entitled, "Dogs Playing Poker," by Coolidge, originally used for the commercials of a certain cigarette brand in 1903. I never, of course, lived during that period, but I remember my grandma telling me that it was Browns and Bigelow that delegated Coolidge to create that popular Dog Playing Poker painting. I can say it's a real American sensation. You know that Americans are innately in love with our canine brothers and sisters, right? And, even if poker's not that much allowed in the country, we Americans know in ourselves that we love it. So, if you're going to mix and match dogs with poker, that's sure to be a great match! Do you want to see more pictures of dogs playing poker? Visit www.dogsplayingpoker.org now.

Feel the rush, just like a virgin! Nope, it's not necessarily promoting Virgin Cola... it's Virgin Games, and it's one cool gaming site. Scope out the gaming cuties: Virgin Bingo, Virgin Poker, and Virgin Casino. And, unlike virgin males or ladies where you have to be a bit censored, with Virgin Games, you may get to use its programs, abuse them, and get the enjoyment you want to the hilt. It's that cool! Just log on to www.virgingames.com. The home page is going to show you there game offerings, which I have already mentioned a while ago. Each game offering is enclosed in a sort of bookmark with inscriptions. For example, for Virgin Casino, it's going to say there that you have the chance to gain flight miles with the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club whenever you play, regardless of what casino game you choose. For Virgin Poker, on the other hand, you get information through their virtual reality poker school just in case it's just your first time playing. How about Virgin Bingo? You avail of free games, thousands of bucks of pot prizes, and a sign-up bonus. If you're wondering about the Virgin Club thing and all this emphasis on Virgin stuff (i.e., why I can't just help but compare it to Virgin Cola), you better check out this fact: Virgin Games is owned by the Virgin company, otherwise known as virgin.com, Ltd.

There's a growing preponderance of free online poker sites. Like what we have perhaps expected, they're popular for the simple reason that they're free--no charges to keep an account with them or percentages that go to the site developers. You only worry about the money you'll have to shell out in case you lose a hand, or if it's a play money game or better yet, you win a real money game, then you don't have anything financial to be anxious about! Let me give you two examples of free poker sites over the Internet. I got Poker Loco (www.pokerloco.com) and Online Poker 66 (www.onlinepoker66.com). Online Poker 66 says it's offering 100% no-cost online poker with absolutely no trace, downloading, or spam e-mails. You also avail of a poker hand calculator for free and a free poker forum room. And yes, it costs you nil to sign up for an account with Online Poker 66, and the process just takes a wink of your eye--that is, depending on how fast you can come up with a screen name and password! The same thing goes with Poker Loco: registering for an account is for free and you're not required to download your games. However, signing up for an account entitles you to providing an e-mail address, which means you get to receive, well, spam e-mails.
