Bodog.com had their iPhone competition, and they gave fifteen Let 'em Ride warriors "tech toy" rewards in the process. According to the founder (that's Calvin Ayre), it's a fact that we are all fond of the iPhone, being many things rolled in a single package, and thus, they opted to give away 15 of them in this Bodog contest. Not just that though, they distributed thirty iTunes gift cards and 30 25-dollar credits from a randomized drawing of all who participated in the Let 'em Ride Bodog contest during its run of 6 weeks. In this Bodog Contest, a winning hand is chosen at a time, beginning with 4 twos and proceeding on to the Royal. First competitor to be given the victorious hand would get an IPhone, not bad huh? If the winner is announced, that particular holding is no longer qualified, the contest goes on the following hand in the roster.

First thing you should know, if you are an American gambler, sorry, but this site would not be able to accommodate you. The gamblers at Sun Poker could be seen predominantly at the Holdem tables, but there are Omaha games too, if ever you are wondering. Sun Poker's games are action-packed, newbies and social gamblers would have a fun time, assuming of course, they know the kind of stakes they are supposed to be in. A lot of the patrons of this room come from Europe, and games' stakes are valued in Eurodollars, GBP and USD. At Sun Poker, the cash fixed limit tables range from very affordable .25/.5 to the bigtime 150 to 300. If you want Omaha MTTs, sorry guys, there is no such offering in this site. The customer relations arm is quick to respond and professional. The banking operations you woudl find to be very simple without unnecessary complications. Have you ever experienced being in a bad online room, whose banking procedures are so convoluted that you could imagine yourself as a Mafia ganglord moving money offshore without the benefit of wire transfers? If you have not, I have, I ditched that room within a week.

Canadian Poker Tour's season 3 has just been finished, and at one final event, the spectators were treated to a last-minute money ending. Jody Trainer of Abbotsford got awarded with the Canadian Poker Tour's Player of the Year honors. He was able to collect $263,125 just in season Three, and he was number 4 in the list of biggest money winners. By utilizing the International Poker Ranking system (it gives points anchored on prize pools, the size of the field and even the buyins), it showed that consistency does pay off. He got close to five hundred points, which was no easy feat, and it sure enhanced this poker player ranking. Prior to that though, there was an up-and-down war between this guy and Joslin of Hamilton, the advantage changing hands so many times, and it took an eights post finish in the Pacific Poker shootout at the last competiton for him to finally get the victory. I don't know about you, but poker player ranking oriented programs/tools/systems/softwares were sure kept busy. Having more than 18,000 registered players at CPT, there were more than 1,500 gamblers with at the very least one cash finish, and if anybody did manually the computations for every poker player ranking, I sure pity the guy.

This pro poker gambler (from LA) was killed via stabbing, and like something from a soap opera, the wife is now facing murder charges, interesting? The name is William Gustafik, and his spouse Jill, has just been hospitalized when they found her at a motel room...now let me give you the story. As per the police accounts, the woman stabbed Gustafik many times due to a domestic quarrel. Via an anonymous tip, the authorities discovered a dead poker player at the bedroom of the suite. I don't know about you, but I cringe when I hear of marital quarrels turning into a marital mrder, or manslaughter, or whatever the technicalities call it. This poker pro may not be somebody you've heard of, but believe me, he walked the walk, and he talked the talk. He joined WPT and WSOP events, and in the WSOP of 2006, he landed 280th place, that was equivalent to $38,759. At an online profile, this poker pro (who very sadly is now a dead poker player) described himself to be a committed spouse, and a loving parent to their nine-year old kid. Well, what more can I say: that Gustafik and Chip Reese may enjoy their poker games in that Grand Poker Hall in the afterlife. May God rest their souls.

I and my friends are so into poker, but none of the many variants of poker can satisfy our whims for personal delight and excitement other than video poker games. What we just can't understand, though, is why the video poker bug got into us. How in the world did our hearts fond of poker get set to play something that's not Texas Hold 'Em? That is, even if, for all we know, Texas Hold 'Em is the flagship game of poker fanatics? What is video poker, anyway? It's motion pictures played with the mechanics of five card draw poker. They're played on machines that look just like the slot machines you see in the local casino joints. Now, you'll also find video poker games when you log on to the Internet. So, what makes video poker games smashing? Number one, you can play it even if you have no friends around you as of the moment. Number two, you play on your own wits--meaning, you get to really use your brains. Number three, if you're a fan of slot machine games, you'll notice that video poker actually pays you more than slot games! Now, that's what should really keep you going back to video poker gaming!

I thought poker's just poker--a simple game utilizing a set or a deck of cards. But then, I learned I was wrong. What I thought was plain poker before turned out to be just one of the many variants of a poker game, which is Seven Card Stud. As it turns out, there are a lot other variants of poker, like the TV show borne Texas Hold 'Em poker, Omaha, and several classic variant combinations. There are even the "alternative" poker variants, such as strip poker and cartoon or movie inspired poker games. When playing a poker game, there are a few things that you have to bear in mind. Number one, of course, get to know the basics of the game. I mean the jargon, which can be head wrecking at times. Second, learn how to play the game. The value of the cards, the way to bet, call, or raise, and pot rules are relevant details that you got to live by. Third, adopt poker gaming tricks. Learn from the experts. Most poker gaming sites nowadays have poker schools. Avail of them. Lastly, make sure you differentiate between tourneys and ring games, pot limits, and limits for stakes. Study which varieties suit you, especially if you'll be playing those games for money.

People nowadays seem to have an apparent lack of contentment. Just like in poker. We poker players, in spite of the fact that poker in itself is already fun and exciting, we still want to make it as fun and exciting as possible. And, given our tendencies to an increased libido, we came up with something that'll indeed titillate the senses. And, yes, we call that game strip poker. Strip poker's fun, you'll get to see a lot, as in, a lot. Get to know your friends as you have never known them before. And, if you got a girlfriend or you're on a group date with people who know how to play poker, you're in for a real adventure. Since strip poker involves all of you guys betting off the clothes you're wearing, the stories we hear from strip poker encounters are just as hot and, well, lewd as the game is. The strip poker stories I've heard range from simple eye-popping scenarios to games that led to "deathly delicious" hard core sex. Do you want to check out some sample strip poker stories? Get them from the Internet! There's a whole array of strip poker stories online. Now where do the most exciting strip poker stories take place? Sometimes, they're on school grounds or dormitories, the beach or the parlor, and yes, in private homes. Why, do you want to share your own strip poker stories?
